Unfortunately, I do remember that it was kind of a horror texture-wise. I had anticipated sweet gooey caramel goodness from the bar, but was surprised and disappointed to encounter a distasteful chalky consistency that overwhelmed any good flavor that might have existed had I been able to get over the dryness of the bar.
It has been my experience so far that my energy bar ratings are pretty consistent company to company, across different flavors, but Balance definitely violates that rule. Maybe this specific bar was just defective? I really enjoy some of their flavors, but this one was yucky, which is peculiar.
